I discovered my love for art at the age of 3 when I made my Dad a simple yet heartfelt gift during his hospital stay. Inside an envelope, I had placed cut pieces of blank white paper to express my love for him while he was recovering. Although it may not have been visually stunning, my gesture was driven by a deep longing for his presence, and his appreciation encouraged me to continue creating art.

Throughout my childhood, my bedroom served as a haven for my artistic pursuits. I would spend countless hours drawing, painting, crafting, and experimenting with various materials, all with the intention of creating unique gifts for my family and friends. While most school subjects failed to capture my interest, visual arts consumed my thoughts. The concept of transforming a mere idea into a tangible creation fascinated me deeply.

As I progressed through school, I eagerly participated in any art-related contests available and enrolled in every art and design class I could find by the time I reached high school. While my peers delved into academic pursuits, I took a different path, immersing myself in the world of design. It was during this time that my art teacher introduced me to packaging design, using an antiquated Apple 2C computer, and I was instantly captivated. Packaging design became my passion, a path I was determined to follow.

Following my graduation with a BFA in Packaging Design from FIT, life threw me unexpected twists and turns over the years, as it often does for many. My career underwent significant transformations, but it never strayed far from the realm of design.
